KARACHI, Nov 4: Federal Minister of Communications Shamim Siddiqui expressed dissatisfaction over the progress of the inquiry committee’s probe into the collapse of a section of the Northern Bypass and said that he would make sure the inquiry report is finalised by November 15.

Talking to PPI at the DHA Post Office on Saturday, he said that only one person was left to be cross-examined, after which the inquiry report, along with its recommendations, would be presented to the prime minister.

Shamim Siddiqui said that the former chairman of the National Highway Authority Gen Farukh Javed has demanded one week’s time, after which he would be cross-examined on Nov 8 by the inquiry committee.
