NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Oct 27: Bodies of Amir, 12, son of Ali Bux Panhwar and Dilsher, 14, son of Mohammad Khan, were found buried in a cotton field in Mohammad Moosa Panhwar village near Tharushah on Friday night after the boys went missing on their way to a madressah in the evening.
The boys had completed their Hafiz-i-Quran course and they were scheduled to receive their certificates in a “Dastar Bandi” ceremony on Sunday.
When the boys did not return by 9:00pm their relatives mounted search and found blood stains, which led them to a hurriedly prepared grave in a cotton crop.
They informed police, who retrieved the bodies after digging the ground.
Tharushah police arrested two persons Muzammil, 19, and Faizal, 50, and claimed that Muzammil had confessed to kidnapping and killing the boys.
There were rumours that the kidnappers had sexually assaulted the boys before killing them. The bodies were lying at Tharushah Rural Health Centre for post mortem.
