KARAK, Oct 23: The district president of the Jamaat-i-Islami has said the perpetrators of the recent bomb explosion in Karak have links neither with his party nor the Shabab-i-Milli.

Speaking at a press conference here on Tuesday, Maulana Samiur Rehman said reports published in a section of the press about the bombers’ affiliation with Shabab-i-Milli were baseless.

He said the Shabab-i-Milli had launched a campaign against vulgarity and obscenity in the country but was not involved in any terrorist activities. He said the Shabab-i-Milli would continue its peaceful struggle against vulgarity in the district.

He condemned the Sunday night blast, adding that all those involved in such activities were enemies of humanity.
