SAHIWAL, Oct 20: Three members of a family were killed and as many sustained injuries in an accident on Sahiwal-Arifwala Road here on Friday night.
Reports said the family of Bahawalnagar was returning to Sahiwal from Faisalabad by a car after attending a marriage ceremony. Near Dilluwala bungalow, their speeding car overturned while saving a donkey cart. Consequently, Lal, his wife Robina and nephew Iqbal died on the spot while Rukhsana, Shaista and Shabana suffered wounds. They were admitted to the local DHQ Hospital.
Police are looking into the matter.
