KARACHI : Rickshaw driver dead

KARACHI, Oct 8: A rickshaw driver who had been wounded in what police described as a shootout with outlaws in Nazimabad on the night of Oct 2 succumbed to his injuries at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre on Monday.

Hospital sources said that Mohammad Aslam had suffered a gunshot wound. Road accident

An elderly woman died in a road accident on Sharea Faisal on Monday evening. The woman, identified as Sharifa Bibi, 57, had been knocked down by a fast-moving vehicle in the limits of the Airport police station. She was taken to the JPMC where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
