KARACHI: 19 vehicles taken away

KARACHI, March 20: At least 19 vehicles — eight cars and 11 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in different parts of the city.

Six cars were hijacked and two were stolen while five motorcycles were hijacked and six were stolen in different parts of the city.

Police claimed recovery of one vehicle from Arambagh.

SUICIDE: A retired headmaster committed suicide in Nazimabad on early Wednesday morning.

Syed Obaidur Rehman, 60, hanged himself in his home in Nazimabad No 4. The deceased was suffering from multiple ailments. Further probe is under way,

ACCIDENT: A young man died in a road accident on main University Road on Wednesday.

Sabir Masih, 36, was crossing the road near Gate No. 2 of the University when he was hit by a speeding bus of route 11-C.
