HYDERABAD, March 20: A condolence meeting of veteran journalist and editor-in-chief of the daily Basharat, Syed Musharaf Raza Jafri, was held at his residence on Wednesday. He had died at the Aga Khan Hospital Karachi due to prolonged illness on Monday.

The condolence meeting was held here under the chairmanship of N.D. Jatoi, Senior Director of Information, who expressed grief over Mr Musharaf’s death.

The meeting was attended by the in charge, District Information Office, Hyderabad, Abdul Sattar Ranjhani, and other officials of the Information Department, Hyderabad. They paid him rich tributes for the services rendered by him in the field of journalism.
