KARACHI, Sept 29: Ten ships including those whose arrivals were delayed carrying containers, coal and to load molasses are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Eastimed Carrier, Eric G. Gibson to unload and load containers, Aeto to offload DAP fertiliser and Oriental Princess to offload tallow were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships, which departed included Y.M. Fortune, Oel Spirit and Pacific Express, while Kuo Chang, Mandalay, Oriental Princess and Oel Trust are due to sail out on Sunday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was modest where a total tonnage of 71,609 tons comprising 15,159 tons of export cargo including 3,510 tons of cement and 5,196 tons of clinker and 56,450 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Al-Farabi, Stolt Protector to load 11,600 and 15,000 tons of molasses, Lalazar and Akaki with crude oil, El Esr with lube oil, Conti Germany, Pu He, Tower Bridge, Mol Asamte with containers and Zenovia with cola.
