SAHIWAL, Sept 26: A man was killed and two others injured over a children quarrel in Kot Allah Din No.1 on Wednesday. Reports said children of Zafar Ahmed and Muhammad Anwar quarrelled while playing. Anwar complained to Zafar for beating up his children. This provoked Zafar and he along with his two sons attacked Anwar’s nephew Irfan with daggers, killing him on the spot. Anwar and his son Naeem sustained serious injuries and were admitted to hospital.

In another incident, one Rani had come to her mother Bakhaan after quarrelling with her husband Ejaz Ahmed. When Ejaz came to his in-laws to bring his wife back, Bakhaan abused him and demanded divorce. This infuriated Ejaz and he axed his mother-in-law to death. Cases have been registered.
