WANA, Sept 20: Supporters of a pro-government militant commander clashed with a local leader of foreign fugitives in the Dab Kot area in South Waziristan on Thursday. Two men were killed and four others were injured in the clash.

Sources said that the supporters of commander Maulvi Nazir confronted the group led by Rafiuddin. There was a heavy exchange of fire in which Rafiuddin and his brother Nizamuddin were killed.

Four other people injured in the clash were taken to a hospital in Wana.

It may be mentioned that Maulvi Nazir had launched an armed campaign against Uzbek nationals and expelled them from the area in April.
