Three killed in accident

THATTA, Sept 19: Three passengers were killed and twelve others injured, two of them critically, as a Hyderabad-bound van collided head on with a truck while negotiating a blind curve at Bodho Makan near Ongar on the National Highway on Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Alam son of Abdul Shakoor, Majid son of Lal Bux and Azam son of Abdul Shakoor.

Mohammad Moosa Mallah, Khuda Bux Samoon, Sabera, Arshad, Nawab, Nazir, Adnan, Dost Khan, van driver Babu Bhatti and others are amongst those who sustained injuries.

Condition of Moosa Mallah and Babu Bhatti was said to be precarious.

The police shifted all the injured to a Hyderabad hospital and impounded the van (DS-2030 and truck (E-8621).
