KARACHI, March 17: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Association (PMDA) has decided to continue protest until those responsible for targeted killing of doctors in Karachi are arrested and punished.

Speaking at a meeting of the Association on Sunday, PMDA Chairman Dr Agha Jawaid urged President Pervez Musharraf to take serious notice of the routine killing of doctors in Karachi, as the government’s indifference to the situation had produced a great sense of unrest and depression among the medical community. He said it was the duty of the government to ensure security to the people.
