Two lawyers thrashed

OKARA, Sept 12: Fifteen men thrashed two lawyers at the district courts on Wednesday. Lawyer Shaukat Ali was on his way to the court when accused Muhammad Iqbal, Shaukat Ali, Fazlur Rehman, Kalimullah and Muhammad Dawood and their 10 accomplices stopped him and started beating him.

They thrashed lawyer Rana Sohail Nadeem when he tried to rescue Ali. Later, several lawyers reached the scene and captured some of the attackers. Police have registered a case against the accused, who thrashed Ali on a personal grudge.
