KHAIRPUR : 27 injured in accident

KHAIRPUR, Sept 8: Twenty-seven passengers including 15 women were injured when the bus they were travelling in overturned near the Shah Abdul Latif University, here on Saturday.

A bus carrying devotees from Kandhra was proceeding towards Sehwan when overturned near the university injuring 27 passengers, seven critically.

Injured were identified as Manzooran, Sanam, Amna, Hajani, Naziran, Mai Zaibul, Saleemat, Amna Jatoi, Bhanul, Bhaiti, Zahiran, Zakia, Shazia, Mai Mirgho, Pyar Ali, Sahib Dino, Ahsan, Irshad, Ali Nawaz, Qadir Bux and Huzoor Bux - residents of Kandhra and surrounding areas in Rohri talukas.

Injured had been removed to the Civil Hospital Khairpur.

PML MNA: Pakistan Muslim League Functional MNA, Syed Javed Ali Shah Jilani has said that people have lost their confidence in the government institutions because of their poor performance.
