LARKANA, Sept 1: Political landscape for today’s generation particularly after General Zia is plagued by lawlessness, corruption, dishonesty and deception, said Mumtaz Bhutto Chairman Sindh National Front (SNF).
Addressing the convention of Sindh National Students Federation (SNSF) Larkana on Saturday, he said such situation not only casts bad impact on politics but also creates problem for Sindh and the nationalism. He called upon the youth to follow their elders’ footsteps when politics was clean and full of honesty, truthfulness and sincerity. Failed and disgruntled politicians ruling the Sindh are manoeuvring to perpetuate their rule under new slogans and plans, he said.
Without naming anyone, Mumtaz Bhutto said there’s no deal in sight which will be beneficial for the province to get rid of criminal ministers and advisers. Only the ‘will’ of people to stand against tyranny and extend support to the sons of soil will augur well, he added.
He urged the youth to remain in touch with the people and continue educating them about the campaign of ‘Sindhi Jago Sindh Bachayo’ to free it from clutches of such politicians.
Vice Chairman SNF Amir Bakhsh Bhutto, Gul Muhammed Jakhrani, Dr Roshan Paichoho, Ibrahim Shah and others also addressed the convention. The SNSF office-bearers for Larkana district and city were also elected.
