FTA with Korea

ISLAMABAD, Aug 29: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said on Wednesday that Pakistan desires to enter into a free trade agreement with Korea to further strengthen economic and trade relationship between the two countries for which there was a great potential.

The demand came from the prime minister at a time when South Korea entered a free trade agreement (FTA) with US.

He was talking to the outgoing Ambassador of Korea Kim Jooseok, who called on him here at the Prime Minister’s House.

Pakistan is looking for having a full-fledged FTA with Korea in a bid to explore new market for its products, particularly for textile products. — Our reporter
