NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Aug 20: Two teachers and 13 students were injured when a portion of roof of the Government Primary School, Mureed Wasen Village, fell down on Monday.

Reports said that students of primary school Mureed Wasen, Naushahro Feroze taluka, were taking classes when pieces of RCC roof fell down on them as a result of which 13 students including Aqib Khan, Shahzado, Nawab Khan, Raja Thakur, Abdul Basit, Mashooq Ali, Naeem Wasen, Waseem and two teachers viz; Shoaib Wasen and Mohammad Bux Moro were injured.

The injured were taken to the village hospital. At the time of incident, 140 students were present in the school, who later staged demonstration against officials of education works department.

School Headmaster Ghulam Mohammad Wasen and the Supervisor of Education Department, Ali Mohammad Shah, said that the school building was in a dilapidated condition and they had informed in writing to the education works department a number of times but the officials did not pay any response and today the incident took place.
