MULTAN, Aug 20: Makhdoom Mukhtar Hashmi, younger brother of acting PML-N president Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, died of cardiac arrest here on Monday. He was 45. The deceased suffered a severe heart attack while making arrangements for welcoming his brother who was coming to Multan by road from Lahore after serving a three-year jail term.
Hearing the news about his brother’s death at Chichawatni, Javed Hashmi rushed to Makhdoom Rashid.
