MARDAN, March 12: District Nazim Haji Raza Khan has asked the administrators of Madaris in the district to expel foreign students, particularly Afghan refugees, before March 31, otherwise, stern action will be taken against them according to the law.

Talking to a delegation of Ulema and administrators of different Madaris at his office here on Monday, Raza Khan said that the government was determined to ensure that no foreign student was admitted to any institution without valid documents and proper permission from his government.

Present at the meeting were Nazimeen of union councils, district Khateeb Abdur Rauf, Zila Naib Nazim Attaur Rehman, and SSP Liaquat Khan.

He appreciated the Muhtamims of the Madaris’ cooperation with the administration, saying that still some students were studying under fake names.

He directed the Muhtamims to expel such students from the institutions before March 31.

He also warned that people who helped these foreign students in registration, identification, and in obtaining fake documents, would be charged.
