SHIKARPUR, Aug 18: A security guard was killed after being picked up by some armed men in the jurisdiction of Chak police, on Friday midnight. Sources said that the men, who reportedly belonged to Khoso tribe, kidnapped Shahzado Shar from the fish farm of Moula Bux Mahar and shot him dead.
Shahzado was on his duty and accompanied by his two brothers, residents of village Chhutto Shar, when they kidnapped him.
The motive behind the murder was said to be an old enmity.
Chak police have registered the case.
