KARACHI, Aug 2: A roundtable on ‘Microfinance - improving outreach and possible solutions to enterprise financing was organised on Thursday by the Centre for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), an affiliate of US Chamber of Commerce, says a press release.

Leading the roundtable SBP Governor Dr Shamshad Akhtar said that the central bank encouraged the delivery of microfinance to the borrowers by moving away from the traditional means.

Moin Fudda, country director, CIPE, in his welcome address said that the microfinance was relatively a new sector with high growth potential.
