KARACHI: Ruling PML stages rally

KARACHI, July 24: The ruling Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) workers staged a rally in support of the government at the Karachi Press Club on Tuesday. Holding the portraits of President Musharraf, Sindh chief minister and Senator Ghaffar Qureshi, scores of people joined the rally, which was led by Hyderabad PML-Q vice-president Tasneem Zohra.

Ms Tasneem said record uplift works had been carried out in Sindh during the period of General Musharraf and Arbab Rahim.

PML-Q Ladies Wing General-Secretary Saleha Zia, UC Nazims Nasir Baloch, Malik Rafiq, Rana Rashid and Hyderabad party representatives Sharif Koti, Khalid Jafri and Faqir Daheri also addressed the rally.—PPI
