KARACHI, July 17: A City Council meeting will be held on Wednesday to discuss the remaining agenda of the current session. The meeting was adjourned on July 14 by Naib Nazim Nasreen Jalil when the house adopted a resolution on computerization of birth, death, marriage and divorce records. Ms Jalil is convener of the house.

The meeting is expected to take up the remaining part of the agenda on the increase in plot ratio and reclassification of Plots No D-106, D-108, D-111 and D-114 in Block 4, Scheme-5, Clifton and land utilisation for commercial purposes and a quarterly report of the Land Revenue and Estate Department.

Protests and preoccupation with other issues have not allowed the city council to pay attention to the agenda in the last two sessions.
