KARACHI, March 8: Pakistan International Airlines in its post-Haj operations, beginning from Feb 26, has flown back home over 29,000 pilgrims, including 5,166 Hajis to Karachi.

The PIA had begun post-Haj operations from Feb 26 which would conclude on March 28. So far 77 PIA flights had flown home 29,075 pilgrims.

Terming the flight regularity schedule 98 per cent, the spokesman said this year from 239 flights PIA had carried 91,132 Hajis to Saudi Arabia.

Besides Karachi, from 11 flights PIA had flown back 5,115 pilgrims to Islamabad, 9,946 to Lahore from 22 flights and 5,926 to Peshawar from 22 flights and 2,922 to Quetta from 11 flights, the spokesman added.
