Draw decision by ICC consent

LAHORE, March 7: The decision to share the Asian Test Championship title in case of a draw has been taken with the consent of the ICC, a highly placed sources in the PCB said.

The sources said the ICC decision came after Sri Lankan manager wrote to the mother body and sought their support and views on the ACC ruling.

The ICC said it would scrap the Test from record books if the match was decided on first innings lead. The ICC further told Sri Lankan management that the Tests are never decided on first innings lead,” the sources said.
