Two killed by robbers

SIALKOT, March 7: Two people were killed and another seriously injured in a dacoity incident in a filling station in Kotli Noshera village late on Wednesday night.

Four gunmen reached the filling station and held hostage guard Farooq Khan, Ali Khan, Asif Mahmood and Rizwan at gunpoint. They collected cash from the cashier and other valuables from them. In the meanwhile, guard Farooq tried to overpower a robber. His accomplices got unnerved and opened fire on them, injuring Farooq, Ali and Asif. They escaped from the scene with the booty while the injured were taken to the Daska Civil Hospital by the villagers who rushed to the spot on hearing the sound of gunshots.

Farooq and Ali succumbed to their injuries soon after arrival while the condition of Asif was stated to be serious.

Satrah police have registered a case with no arrest.
