KARACHI, July 6: Five ships carrying containers and to load cement are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was brisk where six ships, Maldive Cement to load cement, Silver Son, Cosco Lian Yun Gang, Conti Harmony to unload and load containers, Rose and Overseas Jascamer, oil tankers were berthed after the departure of nine.The departed ships were led by Corin Thaikos, Y.M. Star, Hyundai Stride, Swat, World Majesty, Pacific Champion, Chettined Tradition, B1 Saide and Golden Lion. While Andino Park, Cosco Lian Yun Gang, Maldive Cement, Conti Harmony, Rose and Overseas Jascamer are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 0.113m tons comprising 28,701 tons of export cargo and 84,587 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Zhong Hue-7 to load ethanol, Eric G. Gibson, Kota Ganiong and Bunga Terasek with containers and Asian Queen to load 20,000 tons of cement.
