Motorcycle lifters gang busted

SUKKUR, Oct 20: Sukkur police busted an inter-provincial gang of motorcycle lifters and arrested a key member of the gang and recovered three motorcycles from his possession here on Saturday.

According to details, the police on information that an accuse Shano Noori, said to be the leader of motorcycles lifters gang, was hiding in Queens Road area Sukkur, cordoned of the area and arrested him and recovered three stolen motorcycles from his possession.

Police sources said the accused is expert in opening the locks of the motorcycles.

During the preliminary investigation the accused confessed the stealing of a number of motorcycles, along with his gangsters from Sukkur, Khairpur, Nausheroferoze and Ghotki.

The accused said the stolen motorcycles were sent to Shikarpur and Jacobabad and later to Balochistan. The accused disclosed the names of the few of his accomplices including Moula Bux Jagirani, Sadro Jagirani, Javed Dundhan, Ashfaq Mirani and others. Police on his was conducting raids to arrest the other accused.

ARRESTED: Three real brothers Aziz, Qurban and Zahid were arrested in Daharki on the charge of murder of Mst Taslim some two weeks back on the pretext of Karo-kari.

Mst Taslim was gunned down by unknown armed persons in Daharki some two week back.

Her husband Sharif registered an FIR against the unknown killers.

Police investigating the matter and on a clue arrested three brothers of Sharif, who according to the police, were allegedly involved in the murder of their sister-in-law suspecting her involvement with another person.
