KARACHI, March 4: Sindh health department in collaboration with the AKUH, WHO and UNICEF has decided to launch a new project to reduce pregnant women and infant mortality rates in the province.
A decision to this affect was taken at a high-level meeting here on Monday which was chaired by provincial health minister Ahsan Ahmad.
Director general health, Dr Fateh Mohammad; additional secretary development, Dr Sri Chand Ochani; Dr D.S. Akram; Dr Najma Ansari, and Dr Husna Memon were also present.—PPI
