KARACHI, June 8: The three-day Dawn Property Investment Show kicked off here on Friday at a local hotel. Approximately 30 real estate developers, agencies and others associated with the property business are taking part in the show, which will conclude on Sunday.

One of the organisers said that this is the Dawn group’s first property exhibition, which is being held at the Pearl Continental. He said that earlier others had held property shows at the Expo Centre, but those had received a mostly lukewarm response from the public.

He said that there were 12 exhibitors from the UAE, seven from Gawadar and the rest from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad participating in the show. According to the spokesman, the UAE — specifically Dubai and Ajman — is one of the hottest areas for Pakistani and Indian property investors.

The spokesman said that next year, hopefully, exhibitors from Malaysia would also take part in the property show. The show timings are from 11am to 8pm.
