PESHAWAR, June 7: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has severed power supply to three provincial government departments in connection with its ongoing recovery campaign.
A statement issued here on Thursday confirmed that supply to three departments in the Peshawar circle had been cut for non-payment of bills worth Rs0.70 million.
The departments include the Tehsil and Municipal administrations, Peshawar, for not paying Rs304,162 and Rs329,226 respectively, and the health department for not paying Rs35,902. The company’s disconnection and recovery campaign commenced on April 27.—Bureau
