Case registered against UC Nazim

MANSEHRA, March 1: The Mansehra city police registered a case against Maj (retd) Syed Turab Shah, Nazim of the Pairan union council, and two others for ransacking the house of a widow and resorting to aerial firing.

Another ex-army officer, Maj Muzammil, who is residing with his family in the house of the widow in the Ghazi Kot township, Mansehra, has got a power of attorney from the landlady in respect of the house and a case over the ownership of the house is pending in the civil court.

The accused, Turab Shah and his accomplices Qayyum and Shabbir from Attarshisha, allegedly broke open the door-locks of Muzammil’s house on Thursday.

They allegedly ransacked the house and threw out the household items.
