LAHORE, May 26: Pakistan on Saturday handed over two Kashmiris to India who were arrested while illegally trying to cross Pakistan-Iran border in June last year.
Iqbal Qasim and Altaf Hussain were first kept in Quetta jail from where they were shifted to Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat jail.
They had come to Pakistan in April last year on a visit visa but had tried to enter Iran through Taftan border.
They reportedly wanted to go to Europe through an agent. Rangers’ officials handed them over to Indian authorities at the Wagah border.
