Quetta, May 26: National Party chief Hayee Baloch has criticised the multi-party conference, which was held in Islamabad on Friday, for not including the Balochistan issue on the agenda.

In a statement on Saturday, he said an extraordinary situation was prevailing in Balochistan owing to the military operation.

He said the apathy of opposition to the Balochistan issue was unjustified.

Hayee Baloch said the National Party strongly condemned the presidential reference against the chief justice.

He also criticised the killing of innocent people in Karachi on May 12.

He criticised the ‘double standard’ of the government -- on the one hand it was considering holding talks with Al Qaeda and the Taliban and on the other hand it was killing its own people in Balochistan.
