LAHORE, May 20: The inaugural meeting of the Central Organizing Committee (COC) of the 2011 World Cup will be held in Bhurban, Murree on June 17 and 18.
The meeting was confirmed when president of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Sharad Pawar, who is also the chairman of the central organising committee of the cup confirmed his participation on Sunday.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Director Special Projects, Salim Altaf, said the two-day meeting earlier was to be held in May, but was postponed due to non-availability of the BCCI president.
Besides Pakistan and India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are the joint hosts of the World Cup.
