HYDERABAD, May 20: A meeting of the Sindh Bar Council (SBC) on Sunday condemned the May 12 killings in Karachi and decided to send `evidence’ of the activities of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to diplomats and foreign missions.

According to chairman of the executive committee of the council, Fazal Qadir Memon, the meeting condemned road blockades, killings of people and injuries to lawyers on May 12 when Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry had arrived at the Karachi airport.

The meeting also decided to boycott all courts in Hyderabad on Monday while on Thursday there would be complete boycott of courts in accordance with the decision of the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC).

A general body meeting of lawyers is scheduled for Monday on the civil courts premises.
