Thrilling win for Tooba Sports

KARACHI, May 19: Tooba Sports scored a thrilling one-run victory over Nasir Sports in the opening fixture of the fifth Pak-China Gold Cup cricket tournament at the NBP Sports Complex here the other day.

Half-centuries by Akbar Khan, Raja Shamsher and Tariq Khan propelled Tooba Sports to 210 all out in 39.5 overs.

Nasir Sports, in reply, were dismissed for 209 in 39.1 overs despite good knocks by Shahid Malik and Javed Kashmiri.

Shahid Mahmood claimed four for 37 and Raja Mushtaq took three for 39.

Chenshan Min, the consul general of People’s Republic of China, inaugurated the tournament.
