Bomb hoax at bank

LAHORE, May 19: A bomb hoax in a bank on The Mall created panic among the staff and customers on Saturday. Civil Lines SP Ahsan Younis told Dawn that the security guards of the ABN AMRO bank, situated in front of Qurban Lines, received a phone call on the bank number around 6pm that there was a bomb in the building.

The Racecourse police and bomb disposal squad were called which sealed the building and launched search operation but found no bomb.
