KARACHI: Class IX results

KARACHI, Oct 20: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi on Saturday announced the results of SSC Part I (Class IX) Science Group annual examination 2001.

Over all 80,755 candidates had been registered but 78,901 candidates appeared in these examinations.

Of these 49,752 candidates cleared all the five papers while 13,991 were declared pass in four papers.

The number of candidates who cleared three and two papers was 7,219 and 4,439 respectively, whereas 2,304 candidates could clear one paper only.

According to the board announcement the marks statements would be issued after two weeks to the authorised representatives of the schools/institutions.—APP
