KARACHI, Feb 28: At least 14 vehicles — nine cars and five motorcycles — were taken away by bandits in various parts of the city on Thursday.

Four cars were hijacked and five were stolen by bandits, while two motorcycles were hijacked and three were stolen in various parts of the city, police said.

The police recovered six stolen vehicles (ACT-535, AB-6592, KCA-588, KCJ-7657, KCI-8487 and KAD-5511).

INJURED: At least 10 persons were injured in various road accidents in different parts of the city on Thursday.

Five persons were injured in a head-on collision between a car and an auto-rickshaw in North Karachi.

The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment. They are Farkhunda, Sanam, Shireen, Zubair and Khalil.

A truck (LSA-9988) loaded with vegetables turned turtle near old Sabzimandi injuring two persons.

A motorcyclist was injured when he slipped near the PIDC bridge on Thursday morning.

Two persons were injured in a collision between a coach and rickshaw near Lucky Star in Saddar.

Farhan and Farman were shifted to JPMC.
