NA Speaker grieved

SIALKOT, May 13: Razia Bibi, the first wife of National Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Ameer Hussain, died due to cardiac arrest here on Sunday. She was 65.

She was laid to rest in her native graveyard in Sialkot in the presence of a large number of people from all walks of life. Scores of politicians also attended her funeral prayers.

Meanwhile, President Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, Senate Chairman Muhammadmian Soomro, PML President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Punjab Governor Khalid Maqbool, Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi and federal and provincial ministers offered their condolences over the sad demise of NA spea ker’s wife. — Correspondent
