NAWABSHAH, May 8: The Judicial Magistrate Nawabshah on Tuesday, issued summons to the District Nazim and Naib Nazim Nawabshah, District President PPP and 150 others, including PPP activists and Awam Dost Nazims on a complaint filed by the Nawabshah police under section 141 of the Police Order 2002. He directed them to appear in court on May 14.

The SHO A-Section Police Station, Ghulam Nabi Kharal and the Sub-Inspector, Raja Farrukh on the directives of the DPO Nawabshah, Dr Ghulam Sarwar Jamali, filed three complaints in the court of Judicial Magistrate-I Nawabshah stating that the same people, on the instigation of Zila Nazim, had set up a hunger strike camp opposite the press club since the last 14 days, obstructing the road.

The DPO Dr Ghulam Sarwar Jamali said that complaints were received regarding the obstruction of road and action was taken.

He said that if they wanted to protest they could’ve done it inside the hall.—BoC
