MIRPURKHAS, May 8: Dozens of residents of Baloch Para and Pak Colony, including women, staged a demonstration outside the press club on Tuesday to protest against Town police for deliberately delaying action against armed thugs.

Led by Javed Baloch and Khair Mohammad Baloch, they carried banners and placards and raised slogans against the Town police, demanding that the authorities should take notice and arrest the accused involved in aerial firing, robbery and harassment of a septuagenarian woman.

They told journalists that gunmen, including Nadeem, Rais, Guddu and 15 others came to general store of Maryam Baloch in Pak Colony and resorted to aerial firing, looted cash, ransacked the shop and fled.
