KARACHI: Two killed as container falls on pickup

KARACHI, May 7: Two people were killed on Monday when a container on a trailer fell on a Suzuki pickup. Police said the container on the Hub-bound trailer fell on the pick-up which was coming to the city from Hub on Maripur Road.

They said the driver of the pickup, Manzar Abbas, 33, and Saddam Husain, 15, who was on the trailer, were killed and two others, Mohammed Fahim and Umer Gul, were injured in the incident.

The police arrested the trailer driver, Noor Alam.—Staff Reporter
