KARACHI: Convocation

KARACHI, April 25: The annual convocation of the University of Karachi will be held on April 30 at the Valika Ground of the campus.

A university spokesman said Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad, who is also the chancellor of public sector varsities in the province, will be the chief guest.

The graduating students of two batches will be awarded degrees. Besides, 154 gold medals would be conferred and 76 PhD and 33 MPhil degrees will be awarded on the occasion.

A rehearsal of the convocation will be held on April 28. The students have been asked to collect their invitation cards from the camp office on April 26 from 10am to 4pm.—APP
