KARACHI, April 15: Spinner Imran Khalid claimed a five-wicket haul to put Punjab in commanding position on the first day of the Pentangular Cup fixture against NWFP-Balochistan at the National Stadium here o Sunday.

The slow left-armer took five for 32 in 22 overs to bowl out the combined regional side for 191 in their first innings after Punjab skipper Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss ad opted to field first.

Only Shoaib Khan Jr (39) and Adnan Raees (45) made noteworthy contributions for NWFP-Balochistan.

Punjab, in reply, were 30 for one at close of play.
