KARACHI, Feb 25: Several localities of the city remained without water during first two days of Eidul Azha, forcing the residents to buy private tankers at exorbitant rates.
Residents of the effected localities complained that they could not manage to arrange water through private tankers even at exorbitant rates as the tankers were hardly available due to their increasing demand.
Private water tankers were being sold for between Rs450 and Rs500 per tanker and the water they supplied was muddy.
