LAHORE, March 23: Five wickets by left-arm pacer Wahab Riaz helped National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) march into the Patron's Cup final by defeating Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) by 10 runs in a rain-curtailed 33-over semi-final at the Sheikhupura Stadium on Friday.

NBP lock horns with Habib Bank in the final on Sunday.

Wahab gave away 24 runs in seven overs as SNGPL were all out for 166 in 32.2 overs while chasing the target of 177.

Saleem Mughal and Misbah-ul-Haq were the only prominent scorers for the SNGPL. Saleem hit 55 with the help of three boundaries and one six while Misbah scored 38.

Earlier, batting first, NBP were all out for 176 in 32.5 overs courtesy of fine batting by Fawad Alam, who scored 46 with three hits to the boundary, and Wasim Khan (30 with three sixes).
