MULTAN, March 20: Green belts on both sides of the 1km long Abdali Road gave a look of rainbow stream after organisers started making arrangements to hold a flower show there as part of the three-day horse and cattle show beginning here from Wednesday (today).

A folk dancers’ party exhibited traditional dance at Nawan Shehr Chowk, the starting point of the Abdali Road, while car and bike riders watched them making artistic movements.

A full-dress rehearsal was held at Qila Kohna Qasim Bagh, the venue of the event, where organizers, headed by DCO Iftikhar Babar, evaluated performance of the participants.

Colourful programmes, including musical shows, parades of cattle heads, exhibition of agriculture tools, traditional sports competitions and `Meena Bazaar’ would be held during the horse and cattle show and Jashn-e-Baharaan. — APP
