Five die in accident

MUZAFFARABAD, March 12: Five people died when a car fell into the Jhelum river near Subri, some eight kilometres of here. A police official on Monday said that the car went out of the driver’s control when a boulder hit it late Sunday night and hit the river bank.

The victims were identified as Basharat Hussain, Feroz Awan, Khurshid Ahmed, Khawaja Imran, and driver Abdul Khaliq.

Rains had also triggered landslides in many areas, whereas snowfall blocked the traffic between Muzaffarabad and Islamabad till noon.
